Using the site
You may browse, search and share our pages freely for personal use. You may not scrape the directory, copy substantial parts of it, or republish our listings, photography or editorial without written permission.
You may not use the site to harass a business, publish false reviews, or attempt to interfere with how it runs.
Listings and directory information
We work hard to keep listings accurate, but details change: opening hours move, kitchens close, prices go up. Business information is supplied by the businesses themselves or gathered from public sources, and we cannot guarantee that every field is current.
Always confirm anything you are relying on — a booking, a price, an accessibility requirement — directly with the business.
A listing is not an endorsement, and its position in a list is not a ranking of quality unless we say so.
Advertising and paid placement
Some placements on this site are paid for. Sponsored banners, featured listings and partner placements are labelled as advertising where they appear.
Editorial selections are not for sale and cannot be influenced by advertising spend.
Buying advertising
Title sponsor, Leaderboard and Sidebar placements can be booked on the Advertise page. Ads run for whole calendar months, starting on the first day of the month you choose.
Every ad is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may decline an ad that is misleading, unlawful, offensive, or that we cannot show well. If we do not approve your ad, we will tell you why, release your slot and refund what you paid in full.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload — logos, photographs and wording — and that what your ad says is true. You are responsible for your ad's content, and we may take an ad down if it breaks these terms.
Paying for a set period is a single payment through PayFast, and the ad runs for the months you bought. A monthly subscription is billed through PayFast each month and holds your slot until you cancel it from your My ads page. Cancelling stops further billing and the ad keeps running until the end of the last month you paid for.
While you are paying, your chosen slot is held for you for a short time. If payment is not completed in that time, the slot is released and may be booked by someone else.
Prices are the ones shown on the Advertise page when you book, and they apply to that booking. We may change prices for future bookings. Advertising results, including views and clicks, are not guaranteed.
Buying sponsored social posts
A sponsored post is a post on our social media channels, bought as a package, with any add-ons you choose, and paid for in full up front through PayFast.
You choose the day your post should go out. We need time to review and schedule it, so the earliest day you can choose is set by us and shown when you book.
Every post is reviewed by our team before it is scheduled. We may decline a post that is misleading, unlawful, offensive, or that does not suit our channels. If we do not approve your post, we will tell you why and refund what you paid in full.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us — wording, images and logos — and that what the post says is true. You are responsible for its content.
Once your post has been approved and scheduled it goes out on the day you chose. Results such as reach, views, clicks and engagement are not guaranteed.
Prices are the ones shown when you book and apply to that order. We may change packages, add-ons and prices for future orders.
Third-party links
We link out to booking systems, ticketing platforms and business websites. What happens on those sites is governed by their terms and their privacy policies, not ours.
Liability
We provide this site as it stands. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it, from information that turned out to be out of date, or from your dealings with a business you found here.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date below tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
